My wife Blondelle not only manages me but also my work, so we’re always together: Parleen Gill

With Valentine’s Day around, we asked singer Parleen Gill about the day and its importance. The lovely couple Parleen Gill and Blondelle, tied the knot on 3rd March in 2024 in Pune, in a beautiful and intimate ceremony. So how has his understanding of love and the day itself changed after marriage? Does that also influence his music in any way.
He says, “I feel If marriage changes love, then you’ve probably married the wrong person. For me, love has only grown with each passing day after marriage. That happiness naturally reflects in my music, both in how I perform and what I create. When you’re genuinely content and emotionally fulfilled, the vibe automatically flows into your music. I get asked a lot with packed rehearsal schedules, recordings, and live shows, how I and my partner find moments to celebrate love even on my busiest days. The truth is, my wife travels with me literally everywhere. Blondelle not only manages me but also my work, so we’re always together. I consider myself extremely lucky that way.”
He adds, “Her presence makes a lot of things easier in my life. She’s always fully present in the moment and deeply grateful for even the smallest gestures. That kind of awareness and appreciation keeps me emotionally grounded.”
Indian Idol fame Parleen also shares how being a musician helps him to emote well when it comes to romance. He says, “It’s a beautiful gift to be able to sing your emotions. It’s an even bigger gift to have someone special you can sing for. I genuinely feel blessed to experience both. I feel marriage has reshaped the way I express emotions, romance, or vulnerability. I’m far more confident in my craft now, and for the first time, I truly feel balanced and grounded. My head is finally on my shoulders, and for that, I’m deeply grateful. To us everyday is Valentine’s Day and we are grateful to share our lives with each other.”
